The white scarf and white clothing have been symbols of the women’s suffrage movement across the globe for many decades. Following the “Blue Revolution” in Kuwait, women achieved the right to vote on May 17, 2005. In 2020, women in Belarus, dressed in white and carrying flowers, protested for a fair democracy in the “Flower Revolution.” The cornflower is an important symbol in Belarus, signifying national identity and safe haven.
